Are you ready to pick up something for Lent?

I’m hosting a Lenten book club both in-person and online this season!
The online version will be hosted on the blog. Each week expect a short excerpt and a reflection, inviting you to share your own thoughts. We’ll keep to a 3 chapter a week pace (chapters are short!) so you have the option to read it all at once or parse it out as part of your Lenten spiritual journey.
If you are local, reply to let me know if you’re interested in a real life meeting, and I’ll send you an invitation.
Richard Rohr’s Universal Christ has been sitting on my shelf since it was released. His thoughts about how Jesus is here for all of us, every single person, give us insight into who Jesus was during his time on earth and why God sent him to us. It’s a little theological, but that is exactly what makes it a beautiful challenge for Lent.
Get yourself to a local bookstore, order it off of BetterWorldBooks, check it out from your library, or click buy at Amazon.
I’m so excited to read this book together and share our thoughts on who Christ really is in our lives. Join us!
